Sesame Street (1990) Episode 2687

Bekkah:

We’ve been saving Jeff’s episode of Sesame Street for a rough week and… this was the right week for this episode! Could there have been a better letter than F (on fire, no less)? No, it was perrfect. Like the rest of this absolutely delightful show and I felt pretty good about things for 56 minutes while watching Jeff as an Indiana Jones knockoff (complimentary) named Minneapolis try to find the Golden Cabbage of Snuffertiti. He was wearing his (both Jeff’s and Indy’s) classic leather jacket, had a sweet pony, and was an absolute gem to his less cool brother, Bob. But both of them love their lives, which is beautiful! I also learned to count to twenty (20), learned about kids living all over the world, learned about horse keeping, and watched a bunch of funky animations. This was such a wonderful show. I am probably going to watch more Sesame Street episodes to keep my sanity in the coming weeks/months/years.

Danya:

The world would be a much better place if we just watched Sesame street. I learned all about celebrating people’s differences, listening to everybody no matter your assumptions of them, and what No means. Like so delightful, I loved almost every moment from the body positive pig who LOVEd mud, to the international flair (shout out to Haiti and India). And obviously, Jeff and his majestic ponytail who just wanted to celebrate history. Only down moments were not enough speaking lady roles until the last half, and the Casablanca parody where Sam is cruelly forced to play the alphabet song for hours. Sesame Street, I wish we could all live in you.

10/10 Golden Cabbages of Jeffertiti

Sesame Street is paid a visit by Bob's brother, Minneapolis, an explorer and archaeologist, who is searching for the Golden Cabbage of Snuffertiti. He knows it is somewhere in a nearby cave, and the only cave around for miles is Snuffy's.
