Run Ronnie Run (2002)

Bekkah:

Ummmm ok so there was more Jeff than I expected in this movie, which is to say, he was actually on camera and had speaking lines. (In Mr. Show, made by the same team, he was literally a disembodied voice!) But he definitely looked like the 6th member of NSYNC (the old one, I guess) with a soul patch and transitions lenses. But he knew what he wanted in group therapy? Anyway, this movie was full of the bad -isms and also made almost no sense, all the way down to Bob Odenkirk being surprisingly good looking with a beard. But Danya wanted a movie this week and we are running low on options!

Danya:

Here are some things I learned from this movie: David Spade and David Foley look exactly the same. Massachusetts was the first state to have gay marriage. Jon Hamm did some incredibly violent things as a young man. All of this information came from pertinent google searches during this movie, so I guess I can only recommend Run Ronnie Run if you watch it with Bekkah and wifi. It was the epitome of a very certain brand of gross out dude comedy that was kinda a who’s who of 2002. It seemed like almost everyone should have been canceled at some point. Jeff in a goatee is not my favorite Jeff, but still is Jeff!
