Mortdecai (2015)

Bekkah:

This was pretty bad. A weird art heist flick, it felt like a movie from The Past, but really didn’t bring anything fresh to the table. I’d rather just watch Knives Out again. Everyone is unlikable and there is Not Enough Jeff. I’d also be OK if I never saw another movie with Johnny Depp or Gwyneth Paltrow ever again.

Danya:

I wanted to like this movie. I live for heist movies. It was really aiming for something irreverent and missed the mark into weird, but not in a good way. Main characters were all deeply unlikeable, and worse than that, unfunny. If you are going to be one dimensional and self-interested, at least be amusing about it.

2/10 Goldblums
