This episode was quite the ride! We started with a kitty mini challenge, which felt pretty safe and then we went into a 2020 political debate?!?!?!?! I mean it was the queens debating, thankfully, but I really thought this was going to be an extremely light episode! The debate was pretty funny and Jeff and Rachel Bloom had great banter and chemistry and Jeff was hilarious himself, but then he made a pretty not cool comment on the runway about Islam and LGBTQ issues which made the Middle Eastern queen cry?! I mean otherwise he was truly Delightful Jeff (even crying during the lip sync!), but this was a weird situation. I haven’t seen the rest of the season and I have a one week free trial of Paramount+… will I binge it this week? Maybe! But there’s no more Jeff :(

This was quite a mind fuck of an episode to be watching in April 2025. The 2020 political horror show seems…quaint? Oh just a Muslim Ban, but we throwing citizens in vans and leaving them in an El Salvadorean prison. Jeff was just a handsome delight. The outfits were incredible. And realizing that this episode came out on March 6th, 2020. What a time. It was only 5 years, but feels so far away.
