Framed (1990)

Bekkah:

This was the third (3rd) Jeff Flick of the day, and all 3 have been weird, hard to find ones. This one was only streaming on YouTube, despite being an HBO Original. Why not on HBO? Probs because HBO was like “this movie was not worth our bandwidth.” I had kinda high hopes when the movie opened with Jeff with a great shag/mullet (? not sure, I think it’s just slicked at the top) in bed with the lady who got the woman of the year award in Fleabag, followed by him running around in a robe after she maybe ratted him out for money forgery (did she? I am really not sure). Anyway, this was definitely a TV movie, not a feature film. It had some plot. It had some bad guys. Do I care about either? Not really. But we have so many more Jeffs to watch in this project!

Danya:

Ok, real talk. This is our third Jeff movie today. They kind of blend together. This is the one that was a tv movie on HBO in 1990, and Jeff has a glorious bountiful mullet. He’s a gentle artist, of both paint and con. The lady is a femme fatale who can’t be trusted, but she is so alluring! I think there is some other plot as well. This has similar vibes to Mordechai, like maybe a rough draft of Mordechai, but with better hair.
