Jeff dancing in the New Orleans Pride Parade (I forgot it’s real name) in mixed animal prints is the energy I desperately need right now! This episode was delightful, as they all are, but I feel like it’s weird that in an episode about jewelry, only one of four stories featured a woman. Also I feel like I didn’t learn as much as I often do on this show! Not enough history. But Jeff in a grill makes it all worth it in the end. Looking forward to season 2 of this show!

I love things that sparkle, just like Jeff. So we should be best friends. This episode was interesting in that they managed to make a whole episode about jewelry centered on men, which you know, is a choice. I kept waiting for Jeff to tell me some incredible symbolism of jewelry, which we never quite got but I did learn that the Mayans put actual diamonds into their tooth enamel, so, I’m not walking away from this with nothing.
