The Mountain (2018)

Bekkah:

This is probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen. It is not so bad it’s good. It is just bad and I do not recommend this movie. During the entire movie, my only thought was, “is this ever going to get good?” It did not. During the first 10 minutes of no dialogue, Danya asked, “Is this art"?” If someone has to ask if it is art, you did a bad job.

There was one scene where Jeff was dancing in a bowling alley and that was the only scene in the entire movie that was not completely terrible.

Danya:

The main character did not smile ONCE. This is not a smiley movie. The first 15 minutes remind me of a Swedish student film. The history of lobotomies is fascinating, and the pull between doctors thinking they were helping someone in pain, while we know they were abusing them. Should be psychologically deep and complex and nuanced, right? But no. It is one note. And that note is grey and damp.

NOT ONE SINGLE GOLDBLUM
