Jeff Goldblum in Conversation: The Capitol Studio Sessions (2018)
Bekkah:
This was worth the 99 cents to buy IF ONLY to hear Jeff Goldblum VERY VAGUELY discuss the night he lost his virginity! I can’t believe I got that story for only 99 cents! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a long-form Jeff interview before and he is absolutely exactly who I thought, though he did wax on about 0/10 movie The Mountain, but did at least say how much he loved working with Taika Waititi on Thor: Ragnarok (9/10). Jeff is probably exhausting to be friends with, but I love every word coming out of his mouth and also love his mouth and also his black and white mixed prints ensemble. A deep V would have made the outfit perfect!
Danya:
Jeff Goldblum is just the most charming out of all the charming. The pinnacle of charm and charisma and tangential thinking. It is hard not to love him (and we don’t try, because this blog would be a very different animal). I also like that Jeff compliments many women on being wonderful people (Mildred Schnitzer, Emma Thompson, etc) and you feel that he believes it. I know that he is a bit of a womanizer, but I think it means something that he was never canceled. And I will continue to believe that he is a good, and manic, person.

What happens when one of the most distinctive actors of his generation plays jazz piano? Coming from Jeff Goldblum, it somehow makes perfect sense. But Goldblum is no stranger to music-the Hollywood icon learned piano as a child and has been playing with his band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, for decades. Their debut record, The Capitol Studios Sessions, is out now.
