So how many episodes of this show have we watched so far? And I just today realized I have NO IDEA what Jeff (or anyone’s) name is on the show. This show has like absolutely no soul. Sometimes the story is okay, but why do we care about these detectives who have no chemistry with each other, with their boss, with the coroner?? Anyway, this episode was kind of confusing with a big Russian sex-trafficking red herring. Detective Jeff solved the mystery, as always, but this time he risked it all! Or so they wanted us to think. I was not worried. Jeff, you got this baby!

We learned a smidgen of back story about Jeff’s character! Jeff’s dad was a psychiatrist! So yay, some history! He might be inching close to a character! Like, Bekkah, I also do not know this guy’s name. This episode felt kinda ploddy and slow, and I was confused the whole time, but probably because my close captions didn’t work. Also, can we stop using gay characters as disposable? That would be great. And maybe treat sex workers like human beings? I have some notes.
