IMPORTANTLY, we decided to watch this movie BEFORE the debate last night!!! WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED HOW TIMELY THIS WOULD BE?!!

Jeff’s butt was in this movie and that was the last joyous moment we had. For the second half of this movie, my face was was just like D: and that is basically all I remember. It was very gross. Body parts were slimy and falling off and just no no no. Jeff was not-terrible at first, but Jeff + Fly became very terrible very quickly. Why did he make so many bad choices? At least we saw his bum. The other dude in this movie was also terrible and somehow got a redemption arc despite borderline stalking our queen and hero Geena Davis? This is movie #3 with Jeff & Geena and I am here for it! This movie has scarred me, but it was definitely a good movie. I will never watch it again, but I’m glad we saved this one for Spooky Month + post-debate fly madness.

This whole thing could have been avoided if Jeff wasn’t so butt-hurt about Gina going to maybe talk to her exboyfriend/boss for half a minute. HAVE SOME FUCKING EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE, JEFF. You don’t need to throw yourself in a telepod to prove that you’re a man. Just journal your fucking feelings like everyone else.

All dudes in this movie were either rapey or insecty, or both. Which does reflect our current political climate. I have to say, it was pretty emotionally affecting though, as now I have to watch the Good Place to get my heart rate down before I go to bed. Gina Davis’ 80s androgynous power suits forever.

“I want to be the first fly politician.” Says Jeff. Sadly the fly in love with Pence’s man musk , beats him to it.
