I still hate this show but… I do think I hated this episode much less than normal?? My nemesis, Fred Armisen, was like, not completely gross at any point in this episode. Is there something wrong with me? Anyway, like Olivia Wilde, I would have given up on all my convictions just to live with my new boyfriend Jeff in his timeshare with a carpeted bathroom and platform tub and have pool parties and wine nights. It’s nice(?) to see Jeff move out of his typecast Portlandia role of “weird item salesman,” although as I am typing this, I guess selling timeshares isn’t really much of a stretch from that. Anyway, as usual, Jeff is a highlight. Also, Kyle McLaughlan is great. Why don’t he and Jeff have a scene together?

What even is there to say? Not nearly enough Jeff as he shows up as the tennis instructor turned boyfriend turned timeshares salesperson, but he is dreamy for all two minutes he is on screen. Natasha Lyon is lovely, and the bit about dead pets was disturbing. I don’t think I laughed at all, but maybe that’s because it’s February of an election year.
