Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2009) S8E16 Revolution

Bekkah:

I kind of liked this weird ass Law & Order episode with Alex from Lost as yet another young woman with daddy issues. Spoiler: the weird German dude with the terrible accent is her fake-dad, not her inappropriately aged lover, which they REALLY implied early on. Anyway, in this episode we knew who the killers were from the beginning but… we had to figure out why? I don’t really know. They hate capitalism (same) and wanted to bomb all the banks. But really, you should bomb the billionaires directly, not the regular Joes who actually have to go to the bank in person themselves. Jeff saved the day, as he does, but it still ended in tragedy! Fortunately, Jeff is childfree in this world, so he will never have a child with daddy issues.

Danya:

Viva la revolution! Boo capitalism! It’s the worst! That’s what this terrorist guy says to himself every night, and then indoctrinates his daughter. It’s hard to argue with because capitalism is in fact, the worst. However the murdering and bombing is a bridge too far for me. Anyway, the murdering doesn’t work out the way they expect, and then there is extra murdering, and then jeff goldblum does his jedi mind tricks to convince the criminal to turn themselves in, and everything is ok, except that (spoiler) the police kill her anyway and no one ate the rich.

7/10 Goldbombs
