This was cute! In an 80s kind of problematic way! Did I ever watch an episode of Laverne & Shirley before today? Not sure. Also not sure if I even really knew what this show was about, but honestly I’m pleasantly surprised to see a sitcom about two ladies living their best single lives. And Baby Jeff as a romantic guest star (named Jeffrey)? I love. This episode was all about how if you lie to make men think you’re more interesting, it might work, but eventually probably won’t. But look, I would def lie about being able to speak seven languages and also being able to water ski if it meant I got to go on a date with Jeff!

The 70s really confused me, but not as much as pretending that you speak seven languages to impress a man. This episode was all brightly colored clothes and strange home decor. Did adults really sleep in twin beds in the same room?! I kinda just want them to be gay. Anyway, this was cheeky and Jeff is just so so attractive. I’d be his roommate. The misogyny kinda annoyed me.
