Lost World (1997)

Bekkah:

This may be controversial, but I firmly stand by the fact that this was the worst Jurassic movie until 2018. Jeff is delightful, but he could not save this nonsense plot with a totally unnecessary third act. Bonus points for decent child acting and a baby T. rex. But you know what? I will watch anything with Goldblum + dinosaurs, so I’ll watch it again anyway.

Danya:

This starts out strong, and begins the great Jurassic Park theme of incredible greed and hubris. Like, who would go back to that place? The whole time that doesn’t make any sense, but then you glance around at America in 2020 and realize people take terrible risks all the time. So really, why not get hunt dinosaurs? Baby T-Rex is a plus, but it really goes off the rails when it seems like the movie is done, but then they all go galloping off to San Francisco. It’s fine. Stay where you were.
