“Monsters” “Tiny Things” “Puzzles” (2022) World According to Jeff S2E5,6,7
Bekkah:
My Disney+ account expires later this month, so we are racing through the last few episodes!! These three were good, but Tiny Things was great. For many reasons, including the fact that I am a fan of tiny things, but also and especially because Jeff got to experience the wonder of plankton (!!!!) which I feel like almost brought him to tears thinking about our place in the universe and our beautiful planet. I could watch Jeff wax on about the spectacularness of the world for literal hours! Monsters was also fun and Puzzles was cool too (how can Danya and I get invited to do an escape room with Jeff?!), but I will say all three episodes were very white and mostly male and I really feel like if they are going to set the episodes mostly in SoCal (which I think these were), the show can do better than that!
Danya:
So these were fluffy and light and did not strain my brain at all, which is what I was looking for. Mostly I just appreciated how adorable Jeff is and brainstormed about how Bekkah and I could get on this show. We would obviously be on the episode were Jeff goes deep on Jeff discourse, itself. But we would be adorable and Jeff would wear a colorful blazer and give us hugs.
