It is Jeff Goldblum Day! Not just any Thursday where we watch Jeff things, but his actual holiday, thanks Pittsburgh!! I insisted that we not skip this week, even though Danya has Too Many Things To Do, so we watched this 4 minute “short movie” (aka promo for Independence Day 2). Jeff looks really good in this, and that is really all I can say. This short movie/promo would absolutely not have sold me on watching the whole movie, which we gave 5/10 GBs to, way back in 2020 when we still had standards. But here we are!

Yay Jeff Goldblum Day! What a guy, what a day! This was a weird promo for Independence Day 2, which I forgot even existed despite us reviewing it in year one of JGMC, otherwise known as the darkest part of the pandemic. Fun memories! 2016, what a wild year.
